Fujifim launches FinePix S6500fd with face detection technology
Fujiflim has introduced the FinePix S6500fd which features an all new technogy called
"face detection". The new technology helps the camera in getting clear images by ientifying the human faces in the frame(up to 10 faces) .
After the human face has been identified, the camera sets the best shooting conditions and understands the shooting conditions. The picture is then taken, thus minimising the risks of blurred and dark pictures. The Fujifim FinePix S6500fd thus delivers crisp and crystal clear sharp images even if the lighting conditions are not up to the mark.
The face detection technology uses an all new LSI chip and a patented software to deliver high quality pictures. The Fujifilm FinePix S6500fd comes with a 6 Megapixel Super CCD and also has Real Photo Processor II. The digital camera delivers ISO 3200 sensitivity at full resolution.
The FinePix S6500fd features a shutter lag of 0.035 seconds, far better than most of the ones in the market. Another feature called the ‘Natural Light & Flash’, allows us to take two shots in quick sucession one with flash and another without.
The lens used in the camera is a 28-300mm Fujinon 10.7X optical zoom. The camera sports a 2.5-inch Amorphous silicon TFT LCD screen display. The camera has a high-resolution electronic viewfinder and also can record 30 fps VGA movie with sound and manual zoom capability. The internal memory used in the Fujufim FinePix S6500fd is 10MB. The camera will be available from September 2006 onwards.
