Sanyo launches the Xacti HD1a digital media camera
Sanyo has launched its all new Xacti HD1a digital camera, following the success of its Xacti HD1 which was
released last January. The Sanyo Xacti HD1a is termed as the world's smallest and lightest high-definition
digital media camera.
The Xacti HD1a features ergonomic, one handed operation. The camera is capable of recording 720p
high-definition video. The 5.1 mega-pixel digital camera captures digital quality still photos to a standard
SD flash memory card.
The digital camera offers a 10x optical zoom and a 10x digital zoom to capture pictures with amazing
picture clarity. The Sanyo Xacti HD1a can record both 5.1 megapixel still images and high-definition (1280 x
720-pixel) digital video at the same time, just by pressing the shutter button when you shoot a movie.
Up to 21 minutes of 720p HD video per Gigabyte can be recorded on to a standard SD or SDHC memory
card, by this digital camera. The Sanyo digital camera comes with a 30 frames-per-second 320 x 240 pixel
video recording mode. This mode helps us to view the MPEG-4 video clips on a portable video player.
The display featured in the digital camera is a 2.2" rotating LCD display. Anti-shake digital image stabilizer
is also included to get rid of shaken or blurred images. The other major features of Sanyo Xacti HD1a digital
media camera are Red-eye reduction mode, Talking navigation guide for first-time users and Exif Print and
Print Image Matching III. The Sanyo Xacti HD1 a is priced at $ 700 and will be available from September
