SONY VAIO TX3 NOTEBOOK
Sony launches Vaio TX3 Series
Sony has launched its latest in the Vaio Series, the Sony Vaio TX3 series. The slim Sony Vaio TX3 is powered by a Intel Core Solo processor. The TX3 comes with a fully integrated double layer DVD±RW optical drive.
In order to ensure high security, Sony uses a rock-solid combination of fingerprint recognition and hardwired, chip-level Trusted Platform Module (TPM). The advantage is that the system prevents anyone but the owner getting in. The TX3 stores sensitive data like passwords and encryption keys in the chip itself, thereby eliminating the risk of sensitive data being given access to malicious software.
To ensure ultra-high collision prevention, Sony Vaio employs a G-Sensor Shock Protection which protects the hard drive from external shocks. The Shock protection ensures that the hard disk remains intact, even if the
notebook PC is dropped.
The external case of the notebook is made of carbon fibre and the good thing is that it is stronger than Magnesium alloy and weighs less. The notebook comes with 11.1-inch widescreen display. In order to increase the brightness and contrast, the notebook employs X-black LCD enhancement.
Jun Koyama, Marketing Director of VAIO of Europe says, "The TX3-Series is exceptional. The level of engineering behind it puts it in a class of its own, which is instantly obvious when you first see, let alone use one. Heavyweight security makes this versatile and utterly distinctive machine perfect for the business user who is uninterested in the ordinary."
