The user plays Gordon Freeman and the game starts with Dog and Alyx on the search for you. The story unfolds in breathtaking fashion as they dig you out of the rubble.

Gordon Freeman enters the Citadel and then the story goes on. The game has an clear Hollywood feel to it. Half life 2 Episode 1 has enormous explosions and mind-blowing gunfights.
