Panasonic announces the PZ600 range of HDTVs in Japan

The Panasonic Viera PZ600 range of HDTVs are all set to make their debut in Japan. The highlight of the PZ600 HDTV range is the huge 103inch Plasma TV from Panasonic.

The TH-103PZ600, the 103 inch Plasma TV from Panasonic, is expected to take TV viewing to the next level with its high quality technnology and viewing features. The Panasonic PZ600 range of HDTVs will have models of 50", 58" 65" and 103" sizes.

All the models in the Panasonic PZ600 series will have 1920 x 1080 resolution, 16:9 image ratio and 4000:1 contrast ratio. The models will also feature 16 bit image processing and an Analog/Digital tuner. 

The 103 inch TH-103PZ600 plasma TV will be available in Japan from September 1st onwards and is priced at 6000,000 ($ 51,000). Panasonic will manufacture almost 50 units of the giant TH-103PZ600 plasma TVs.

The other models in the PZ600 range are priced at 690,000 ($ 5800) for TH-50PZ600 - 50" , 56" for 850,000 ($ 7200) and 65" for 990,000 ($ 5400).
