Sony launches Vaio T laptop with digital TV tuner

New Sony Vaio T laptop debuts.

Sony has launched its new laptop, Sony Vaio T which comes with a digital TV tuner. The model has support for video recording also. The new model from Sony comes as an extension to the popular Vaio Series. 

For maximum memory capacity, Sony has included a 80GB hard disk drive in the model. Using this memory up to 222 hours of programming can be done on the PC. The Sony Vaio T is powered by an Intel Core Solo U1400, U1400, U1300 or Celeron CPU at 1.06 Ghz. It offers 1. 5 GB of RAM. 

Sony has included a hard drive protection system to prevent the damage caused by external shocks. The Sony Vaio T comes with a fingerprint sensor and Wireless LAN(a/b/g) functionality. The USB port used is USB 2.0 x 2. Bluetooth technology is inbuilt in the laptop for enhanced communication. FireWire and Ethernet support is also included i n the product. The other components that come with the product include a SD / MMC / Memory stick reader. 

The monitor featured in the product is a 11.1 inch TFT with 1,366x768 resolution. The battery life of sony Vaio T is around 7 to 10 hours, but it also depend on the processor and RAM used. It also offers 4 hours of TV viewing. 

The dimensions of the Sony Vaio T are 272x195×21 and it weighs 1.27 kg. The model will be available in the Japan market from June 24 onwards. The price of the model is 159,800 Yen ($ 1400).
