Creative Zen Vision W personal media player at a great

The Creative Zen Vision W is a PMP that seems to have surprised Popular Mechanics. They got hold of one, and 'threw every format at it', and found that it could play almost anything!
The Zen Vision W player is not officially launched yet - this must have been one of those accidental leaks.
Anyway, Popular Mechanics' wonder at this portable media player is giving us quite a few ideas. To go so overboard over a PMP, this must be really good. One of the most interesting things is the 4.3 inch widescreen screen. It is the best they have seen on a media player, says the magazine.
I dont know about the convenience of watching a movie on a 4.3 inch screen - but I know exactly what this Vision W PMP would be great at. Storing photos. Yes, use it as a picture storage device. I do not know if DC and compact card slots are available in the Vision W, but if they are, bingo! I sure hope Creative is not stupid and has provided for that target market. The price of the 30 GB Creative Vision W is 399 $, and the 60 GB version comes at $ 499. Treat it as a PMP and photo storage device, and that is excellent value for money.
