Real rhapsody 4 screen picture

Real has been the undisputed king in the music subscription service in US for a long time now. One look at Real's new offering, the Rhapsody 4, and you know why. I might offer something more to this, it seems there is no "Real" competition for them in near future too.

Rhapsody 4 is unbelievably easy to use, offers a unique way to discover music. Not to forget the top-notch editorial content, which comes along with the listening experience. The Rhapsody 4 comes with a trouble-free integration with SanDisk's new Sansa e200R. A new and improved interface improves the music listening experience music more. The old-timers would certainly welcome the new changes, whereas the newbies would get attracted. Whatever category you may fall in, the Rhapsody 4 is best choice for people who are interested in digital music subscription service or just want to manage their music collection. But, if you are looking for the all rounder sorts, move on.

Real has made notables changes in Rhapsody 4. Let us start from the main interface, where the changes are not much, but you do have a split left-hand column and a central main window. Some of them being the new brighten look from the earlier black color. The new silver shade is cool and easy on eyes.

The playback bar at the top is also changed. Intelligent changes like the shuffle, repeat and EQ buttons are now available next to the playback controls in the upper left corner. Users can get the usual information of the song, plus a new added feature of information of the next track in queue. The artist related information is still there, thank heavens the magnification is gone, when you would place your cursor on it.

Importantly, users can be rest assured that the new Rhapsody 4 has the great content that Rhapsody is known for. The users are equipped with a search bar at the top. They can go about searching their favorite music by artist, album, track, keyword, or composer. They have another option of browsing the music by genre, new releases, staff picks, exclusives, and so on.

Then there is the ever powerful and reliable Music Guide. Users can see What’s New in the new version of Rhapsody (if they have missed out on anything). My Rhapsody, a new personalized page towards users preferences. The Channel Guide can be used to view what the various streaming music channels have to offer.

In Rhapsody 3 it was called Rhapsody Radio, in Rhapsody 4 its called Rhapsody Channels. The Rhapsody Channels come with over 100-programmed stations and some artist-based stations. The users can save music in their music collection. The music can also be transferred with any hindrance to the SanDisk Sansa e200R. The songs are updated, every time you connect the player. Users can also save their favorite music onto their music players. The trouble free integration with SanDisk Sansa e200R come to fore as the e200R's firmware is custom-tailored for Rhapsody 4. Users can be rest assured of fast transfer times and increased reliability.

But Real's real ace is the astounding editorial content. Unlike others, the Rhapsody kicks some serious butt in this area. A team of music editors entertain the listeners with some witty and informative blurbs for every artist, which makes for great listening. Hands down!.

The Rhapsody 4 is easy on the CPU and consumes less power. Contrast this with Windows Media Player and iTunes and you know what i mean. The only gibe i have Rhapsody doesn't offer a view by album art option. Real has already started to build on that and in near future we might just get to see it.

You won't believe this but you don't need be a subscriber to benefit from this excellent offering from Real. Get one "Real" soon.
