Sony Vaio LA Series Media Center
Sony has released the Vaio-LA Series Media Center, which acts both as a PC and as TV. The whole unit is very sleek and slim and looks perfectly in order. All the components of the Media Center are carefully placed beneath the LCD and hence will remind you of an iMac.
The motherboard used in the Sony Vaio LASeries is specially designed for ultra perfromance at minimal space. Also, the lack of hanging cables is something which will surely catch you by surprise. The screen in the Sony Vaio LA Series is a 19 inch screen which supports a resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels.
The screen features a transparent coating on the sides, which gives it a floating effect. The Sony Vaio LA Series is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 1GB RAM. The operating system is Windows XP Media Center edition.
Th hybrid tuner which is included in the Sony Vaio LA Series helps the users to deliver both analogue and digital terrestrial (DVB-T) channels. The hard drive in the media center is of 300GB and has features like Wi-Fi too.
The other major features of the Sony Vaio LA Series include Integrated Motion-Eye webcam, a remote control and a wireless keyboard and mouse.
