Supportplus launches a 20GB portable media player
Supportplus will release a portable media player which will have a storage capacity of 20GB. Supportplus is a Dutch company which sells low-end flash products and it is the first time, they are entering the digital media player market.
Sadly, the Supportplus 20GB PMP does not have a name yet. But as goes the saying, whats it in a name, it is the features that matter. The PMP will feature a 1.8 inch 20GB hard drive and will feature a 1.3 mega-pixel camera.
The Supportplus PMP's screen will sport a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and will have a 3.5 inch TFT-LCD display. The Supportplus PMP will also support a video recording at 640 x 480 at 30 fps or 320 x 240 at 30 fps. The Supportplus PMP will support a wide variety of file formats like MPEG4, AVI, DIVX, MP3, WMA, ASF, OGG, JPEG, BMP and GIF.
The option for voice recording is also included with the PMP. The voice recording can be done either at 32kbps via Mic and 128 kbps via Line in. The Supportplus offers a video playback time of 5 hours and will take 3 hours to recharge fully.
An FM tuner is also included with the Supportplus 20GB PMP. The PMP will be available in Holland at a pricing of 300 to 350 Euros.
