Adobe announces Photoshop Showcase

Photoshop Showcase a website from Adobe for sharing pictures will be launched in 3 weeks from now. Photoshop Showcase will be working with teams of photo Editing softwares - Photoshop elements 5.0 and video editing software tools - Premier Elements 3.0. Both these products for picture and video editing are also launching with Photo Showcase.

Services from photo showcase will be offered based on the storage share mechanism by which each picture or the video will be wieghted and called a share. Initially Adobe has declared shares upto 1000 free for the user, 5000 Shares for 3.99 USD and upto unlimited shares at 7.99 USD.

Photoshop showcase is very unlikely a just another addition to number of online photo galleries. Adobe being leaders in the picture editing software tools will be in leading position to introduce innovative tools for online photo editing, keeping them ahead of established photo galleries like Flickr on the net.
