Google Mini and Google Search Appliance make debut in Australia and New Zealand

The customers in Australia and New Zealand can now have purchase Google Search Appliance and Google Mini. Google Inc has officially launched the starting of both services in Australia and New Zealand.

Using these hardware-software bundled services from Google, organizations and employees can now search across their internal content, which includes company intranet, databases, business applications and public websites. 

Google Search Appliance also includes a feature called the Google OneBox, using which employees can get relevant real-time information from enterprise sources like CRM, ERP and business intelligence systems.

Millions of documents can be saved in the Google Search Appliance and the security assured by Google is so high that users will get to know only the information that they have permission to know. The pricing for the Google Search Appliance starts at AUD$74,486 (MSRP) to search up to 500,000 documents. 

Using the Google Mini, searches on the Net and the depatment can be done and also Google search can be done on the corporate networks. The setting up of Google Mini is so simple and it only needs minimal ongoing administration.

Google Mini comes in different versions and the charges differ for each of the versions. The Google Mini to search up to 50,000 documents for AUD$4,965 (MSRP) – including all hardware, software and a year of support. Google Mini to search documents up to 100,000, 200,000 or 300,000 are also available.
