Jajah Offers Free Telephone Service
Jajah has announced new services that will allow registered users to make free local and international calls.
Internet phone company, Jajah, has announced that it will allow registered users to make free Internet-based telephone calls, both local and international, within the United States; Canada; China; Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan (both mobile and land line), and Australia; UK; Germany; France, Italy and most other European nations (Calls to landline and within). Other calls, including those placed to nonregistered users, are charged per minute.
To be eligible, users as well as the party who they are calling should be registered and active Jajah users. Users who want to use the service will have to register with at least one existing phone number and then type in the number they want to dial. Jajah will first ring the user's existing number and then connect to the number that the user wants to dial. Jajah will make the call using VoIP infrastructure.
Jajah has announced other services as well. One such service will allow users of MAC OS X Address Book and Plaxo toolbar for Microsoft Outlook to call numbers from within the program.
Jajah has also announced a Call me button that companies can add to their Web sites which will allow customers to place a call by clicking the button and entering their own phone number. The company will be charged for the call.
