D-Link introduces DPH-540 and DPH-541 Wi-Fi phones
D-Link has released the clamshell Wi-Fi flip phone and will soon start to ship the mobile phone to its markets around the world. The D-Link Wi-Fi flip phone is compatible with VoIP services like Vonage. The two models available are D-Link DPH-540 and DPH-541.
The D-Link Wi-Fi flip phone is available in two colours, black and silver. The phone comes with a colour screen of decent resolution. The major features of the flip phone will be caller ID, polyphonic ringtones, 100 entry address book, and text messaging support.
The D-Link Wi-Fi flip phone offers a talktime of three hours and 70 hours of standby time. The battery life is not so good when compared with other mobile phones and is only half the lifetime offered by other cell phones.
The D-Link flip phone supports Wi-Fi encryption of three types, WEP, WPA, and WPA2. Using a future firmware upgrade, the phone will support Public SIP Telephone Network.
The D-Link DPH-540 and DPH-541 Wi-Fi phones are priced at $249.99 USD.
