hTc Z mobile phone from NTT Docomo

NTT Docomo will offer the hTc Z which runs on the Japanese edition of Windows Mobile 5.0. 

NTT Docomo will offer the hTc Z which runs on the Japanese edition of Windows Mobile 5.0. NTT Docomo is a Japanese telecom player and has tied-up with HTC, which is a Taiwan based company.

The hTc Z is the first combined product from these two companies. The hTc Z will let the user to access a wide variety of mobile business solutions using Windows Server and Exchange Server. This will also include the Microsoft Direch Push e-mail solution.

NTT Docomo is planning to sell the handsets to its corporate customers. The NTT Docomo hTc Z will support networks such as GSM/GPRS and NTT DoCoMo's 3G FOMA network. The phone will feature a QWERTY keyboard and can be accessed by a sliding mechanism.

The hTc Z phone will feature two digital cameras, one of which will be external with a 2 megapixel camera and the other internal with 100,000 pixels. The display used in the hTc Z is a 320 x 240 pixel 2.8 inch QVGA display.

The other major features of the hTc Z are 64MB RAM and 128MB Flash memory. The phone has a Micro SD card slot for further memory expansion. The dimension of the hTc Z are 112.5mm x 58 mm x 22mm and weight is 176 grams. The price and availability of the phone is not known yet.
