i-Mate Jaq smartphone - a cool new smartphone

Smartphones have always been a hot favourite with the tech enthusiasts and all of them have been waiting for this device for quite sometime. Now that the i-Mate Jaq Smartphone has been released, the gorgeous features coupled with this device justifies the long wait.

The i-Mate Jaq Smartphone is highly business oriented and is specifically designed for the business class. The device is manufactured by Inventec, which has been manufacturing palm devices for some time. The smartphone cum Pocket PC is an amazing piece of technology and is powered by 200MHz Texas Instruments OMAP 850 processor. The memories included in the device are 128MB ROM/64MB RAM.

The i-Mate Jaq smartphone sports a pretty large 2.8"inch TFT screen and supports 64k colours. The phone offers a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. Coming into the negative points, the phone does not have Wi-Fi or a camera. For connectivity, it employs Bluetooth 1.2 and has features like IrDA and a quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE.

For further memory enhancement, a Mini SD card slot is provided. The i-Mate Jaq smartphone features a QWERTY keyboard and the operating system is Windows Mobile 5.0 for Pocket PC. The pocket pc offers a talktime of 4 hours and the standby time offered is 150 hours. Pricing and availability of the product is not known yet.
