Sprint introduces Samsung A640

Samsung A640 has been added to the collection of Samsung mobile phones from Sprint. Samsung A640 is not a high-end phone, but still the phone is pretty descent and when compared with others in the same segment in the market, the phone's performance is pretty descent.

Samsung A640 has a VGA camera which delivers pretty good quality photos. Bluetooth technology is also included to enhance connectivity options. Sprint PCS Vision Multimedia is also integrated in the phone which comes in a good looking black coloured case.

The phone has a lot of personalization features and offers some key visual enhancements. The Samsung A640 features an illuminated backlit external display. The phone also has three interfaces, which can be changed by the user. A new black and white menu is also included in the phone.

Samsung A640 supports wireless backup utility and Sprint PCS Ready Link which is same as a walkie-talkie functionality. The Samsung A640 mobile phone is priced at $50 for a two year contract from Sprint.
