FCC approval for Sony Ericsson P990i smartphone

The Sony Ericsson P990i, recently approved by FCC, is a great smartphone and excellent looker too.

Sony Ericsson is all set to launch their latest Sony Ericsson P990i smartphone, as the company has got the FCC approval for the phone to go for sale. The Sony Ericsson P990i can well be called as the mother of all smartphones, because it has almost all high-end features available in the planet today.



The sony Ericsson P990i supports Symbian OS 9.1. The mobile phones also comes in UIQ 3 platform. The music player in-built in the Sony Ericsson P990i supports music files of type MP3, AAC and AAC+.

The phone features a highly advanced QWERTY keyboard and has a puch e-mail functionality. The phone sports a familiar Jog Dial for scrolling through the menu items. 

The P990i also features a task manager, thus giving the users the flexibility to switch between tasks. The media type supported is Memory Stick PRO Duo media. The phone will have top-of-the-line features such as Bluetooth 2.0 and WLAN 802.11b. The modem which is integrated in the phone will be High speed UMTS modem (384 kbps). The Sony Ericsson P990i will also feature a Adobe PDF viewer and Opera 8.0 web browser.

The Sony Ericsson P990i is expected to hit the stands by next month. The price of the product is not available yet. For now, enjoy the pictures.
