The LaBiche Aerospace FSC-1 flying car

For those of you who need a dual purpose flying - road car, its finally here. At least the plans are there, no flying prototypes yet. The flying car - LaBiche Aerospace FSC-1 - will be developed by LaBiche Aerospace.

True, it was Moller who first seriously considered developing a flying car - and that has been in development for ages. That flying car is a vertical take-off vehicle unlike this one - from what info we have available, we think the LaBiche FSC-1 will have to take off at least from a small airport (Though a smoothly paved highway might do just as well).

1/10th scaled remopte controlled prototypes have been built already, as well as a 1/4th scale model for engineering testing. A full size prototype which will b displayed to the public very soon is being built right now.

The FSC-1 opens a new chapter in the history of flying cars, as there had been several attempts to produce a car of the same functionalities in the past. But none of them had really bore fruit.

The FSC-1 is designed by an aircraft designer and the co-founder of LaBiche Aerospace Mitch LaBiche. The car comes after ten years of development. The car will be a high speed sports car, but will also be able to fly.

We are not sure about the engine option - we have read about a Chevrolet engine as well as a Porsche twin turbo on the Labiche website. This will be a kit car. The length and width of the flying car is quite similar to that of any road-going car.

The flying car is expected to cover distances in speeds of 275mph, much to the relief of the users. The car ensures high comfort and style, all in one. Though the FSC-1 will be a bit expensive, it promises to deliver what it is expected to. The car may be priced at $175,000, but considering the speed and next-gen usability the price cannot be debated.

We will keep you updated on this car as more info becomes available. Bookmark this page and visit us again for more info on the LaBiche FSC-1 flying car!
